The best arrangement is to make two directories in your FONTS:
directory, called _Type1 and _TrueType.

Copy the .PFB and .AFM files for any Type1 fonts you want to use into
the _Type1 drawer, and _then_ run t1manager to install them.

Likewise copy any Truetype fonts you want (for instance all the ones on
Matt's tutorial page) into the _TrueType drawer, and _then_ install them
with ttfmanager. You will need all the standard Microsoft web set for
viewing most recent web pages. Verdana and Tahoma are everywhere.

Intellifont is used only for installing Agfa Compugraphic Intellifonts.
